What We Do

The White Buffalo Woman Council (WBWC) recognizes the power of women coming together to create change.

WBWC supports education, advocacy and civic responsibility, the respect and revitalization of indigenous arts, food, culture and life ways, the self-determination and empowerment of Indigenous Peoples, the protection of water, the honoring of Mother Earth, and defense of the Sacred.

WBWC may offer education, advocacy, voice and organized action to Indigenous issues. Members may offer workshops, presentations, speak at gatherings and events, advocate at public meetings, organize in support of issues or policies, organize film screenings and events, and provide consultation services.
